This is Naya Bricher’s second summer show with the gallery. The show of new work opens Friday, August 14th and runs through August 20th.

Culled from years of digital clippings and snapshots, her saturated paintings include recurring whimsical imagery: tropical landscape, pools, costumes, animals, toys and treats.

As in montage, her paintings bring together many images into one composition, condensing space, time, and information. She says about her work “I make the paintings that I want to see, to delight me.” Her work engages with Ingrid Fetell Lee’s “Aesthetics of Joy” and her process is steeped in abundance, play, surprise, transcendence, magic, and celebration.
